Hello Everybody! Betz Golden sharing with you a lovely set of fall cards made with the October box. My favorite thing in the box are the watercolor panel cards. I create these cards with the Fall themed ones.
I used Aqua Flow Markers to color them in. The two with the pumpkins I did a little different. On one I colored in the image and let it dry for a bolder stronger colors. On the other I misted it with water when I was done and dabbed with a paper towel. This created a more watercolor effect. To see how to use these markers please check out this short video: How to with Aqua Flow
Once the images were colored in to my liking I trimmed them out and adhered them to a card base. For the acorn I ran a piece of brown card stock through my embossing machine and spread a little ink over the lifted wood grain.
For the Pumpkin Spice cards I laid out powdered pigment, misted with water and let dry. I adhered the trimmed image and added Nuvo drops from the box to finish it off.
I love creating leaves. I don’t know why, but ever since I was a child I have had a thing for leaves. For these cards I used the same technique only different color families for each card.
Once again I added Nuvo drops to finish the cards.
I had so much fun creating these. I originally started on the panels as a time to learn. I had no intention of them actually going on a card or part of a project, but once I started I just could not stop.
Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!
