Sorry we are a day later than usual, Maddi has been having some treatment over the weekend so I didn’t get a chance to finish off your tutorial until Sunday evening, however, I think it was worth the wait. Today I have a great fun card, that is jam packed with techniques for you. Neat & Tangled sent me their March release and this is the final set I have to show you. Let’s start with a picture and then I can take you through it…
First of all i’m going to show you how to make your own map, I used some of the stamps from the Neat & Tangled set, isn’t it so cute? I will show you how I aged it, a technique you can use for any style or type of project, then we will color our characters with copics, I cut the two together using my scan n’ cut rather than the dies so you can cut them out as one, something you couldn’t get cut evenly without the machine. Without further ado let’s watch the tutorial…
This would make a great card for any child and you could also use it for a great adult card using some of the other sentiments, I love the ‘you are my greatest treasure’ for a card for Mr HH. Of course you need your supplies, you will notice I haven’t linked up the distress markers below, inside click here for a link to them as they are on sale individually or in some great value packs! Here is also a great link to copics.
The Copic colors I used were: T0, T4, T9, E93, E81, E35, E55, E53, E39, YR16, YR09, B52, B12, BG07, R17, W3, R46, R02
I also promised you a link to my previous scan n’ cut video so just click here to jump on over. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the techniques today.
