The July Hedgehehog Hollow Box has some fabulous stamps, stencils, and papers. I’ve used them to create a 3 card set using 3 different techniques.

These 3 cards look like a set because I used the same three ink colors for all of them: icy mist, bubble tea, and lemon. I also used the Cloud Crown Jewel Gems on all of them and the fonts on the sentiments are all the same as well. A few details shared by all three cards make them feel like a card set.

My first card simply uses ink blending with one of the stencil and masks in the box. I love the soft rainbow effect that I got using the Maker Forte Color Hive inks to blend. This card front is cut at 3-5/8 x 3-7/8″ while the patterned paper is cut at 4 x 5-1/4″.

The second card uses an emboss resist technique with the large and fabulous background stamp in the kit. I used the Color Hive Clear ink and white embossing powder to create this card. I also used those same inks to get that soft rainbow effect yet again on this card. This card front is cut at 4 x 5-1/4″ and the patterned paper is 4-1/8 x 5-3/8″.

This is my favorite of the three cards! I added ink to a clear block and spritzed it twice with water. I used the block to stamp the ink onto the card front. Then I stamped the sentiment and the image in eclipse black ink and added a border with a journaling pen. This card front is cut at 3-3/4 x 5″ with a patterned paper piece cut at 4 x 5-1/4″.
