Hello and happy Wednesday! Kimberly here today to share a little inspiration using some older monthly kits. It is so fun to get the monthly subscription. We used them when we get them, and then put them away when the next one comes. But why not try to combine them? I have combined the July 2021 kit and the September 2021 kit here to entice you to break out those sets and use them together!

I started out by ink blending Flamingo, Hyde Park, Neon Lights, and Grape Color Hive inks on a piece of white cardstock.

Then, using an image from the Atomic Age stamp set in the July kit, I stamped it using the same inks. I lined them up straight down the panel.

Next, I stamped the cupcake image from the You Bake Me Happy stamp set in the September kit a couple of times on white cardstock using Eclipse Black ink. Using a post-it note, I stamped the icing part at the sticky end to use as a mask. I trimmed it out and masked the stamped cupcake. Then, I stamped the wrapper using the same image I used for the background with Neon Lights ink.

I cleaned the stamp and using Hyde Park ink, I shifted the stamp over and stamped it.

To finish the wrapper, I did the same thing but shifted the stamp up to fill in the white space.

I made a second cupcake using Grape and Hyde Park ink for the wrapper, then cut both cupcakes out. Next, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the July Kit on white cardstock using Eclipse Black ink. Before I assembled the card, I cut down the background panel to 4 ” x 5 1/4″. I added foam tape to the back and adhered it to a white card base. Then, I adhered the cupcakes and the happy birthday sentiment to the card panel using foam tape. To finish the card, I added Aura Crown Jewel Gems.

I hope this inspires you to break out some of your older subscriptions and find fun ways to combine them! Thank you for stopping by!
