Hello friends! It’s Kim from Stamping Imperfection here to share a quick and easy fairy card using the March Subscription Box. I’ve used some quick ink blending and along with the Kaleidoscope Powders and Sugar Sparkle Glitter to create this card!

As soon as I saw the fairy in the jar, it reminded me of those days we used to catch fireflies in a jar as kids. We always let them go in the morning, but it was always one magical night to have them lighting up your room!

I love bold colors and I pull out my Distress Oxides every chance I get! The first step to create this card was to blending Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, Blueprint Sketch, Seedless Preserves, and Chipped Sapphire until I had a nighttime glow effect.

A small amount of the Maker Forte Neptune Kaleidoscope Powder from my stash was added to a mister bottle with water and spritzed on the entire card panel. The excess was blotted up so the inks would not run and bleed together and then it was allowed to dry. The result was a gorgeous sparkle across the entire piece!

Next, I used the bonus stencil in the kit with the Color Hive Clear ink and a foam applicator tool to add the clear ink through the stars and circles on the stencil. I removed the stencil and added the Mercury Kaleidoscope powder from the kit to the clear stars and circles with a small brush.

Finally, the sentiment and the image from the Fairy Whispers stamp set were stamped on using the Color Hive Eclipse Black ink.

Moon Dust Sugar Sparkle Glitter was added to the edges of the card base using 1/4″ double sided tape before adhering my top panel.

The card has been finished off with some Maker Forte Crown Jewel Gems in Vegas Strip from my stash.
