Hi, everyone! It’s Amber here!

Today I am so excited to be back on the Blog to share just what I created with my new October subscription box!
I couldn’t wait to play with all the crafty goodness packed in that box – especially after seeing our “reveal”… so as soon as I came home from the mail I got to work right away… (creative disclosure – I didn’t even eat supper – I snuck down to my crafting area and got right into it!)

This week I decided to play with the gorgeous interference kaleidoscope color, Nebula that was included in my box – and the first thing that came to mind was the twilight sky that comes here in the winter months.

I had a blast getting inky and blending it all together…. and I apologize about my photos – but I can’t even capture the amount of SHIMMER that is in this mixture of Distress inks in Chipped Sapphire, Wilted Violet and Seedless Preserves.

I added a small dab of Rich Razzleberry Ink (SU!) as well, and brushed TONS of Nebula powder with each layer … and it just shines!

I had to set that background aside just to let everything dry completely … and I created a panel with some white focus with this curvy tree die – I love it and it was perfect for setting the scene for this card.

I wanted my sentiment to pop, and I used my fave from the new stamp set in this month’s box. I used the Maker Forte clear stamp pad to ink it up and heat embossed with Hematite powder.

I still needed even MORE shimmer and this is what I LOVE about these kaleidoscope powders! Earlier I had brushed on layers dry with the brush to add shimmer … but I also created my own shimmer spray by adding a small pinch of it to water in my misting bottle 🙂

A cannot describe it – and I have a great live video shot of it over on my socials – to see it head over to my Insta https://www.instagram.com/foreverambersart/

Thank you so much for stopping by – I will be back soon with more inspiration for you 🙂

Peace, Love n’Ink
