Hi there Hollowers! Whether you are done with holiday card making or just getting started, the December subscription box can be used for both! These cute little critters are actually perfect for all year round cardmaking. For today’s card, I’m using a stencil, and the Forest Friends stamp set. Also, I’ll use Scrunchie glitter and the Simple Sayings sentiments from Maker Forte. And, I’ll be adding glitter using Stickles to embellish my project!

I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼. I placed the stencil over the cardstock and blended Catherine Pooler Party Dress ink through the stencil using my blending brush.

Next, I added Diamond Stickles over some of the ink blended leafs. Then, I sprinkled the beautiful Scrunchie glitter over the Stickles and shook the excess off back into the glitter pot. I liked the Stickles so much that I added a line of it to the left side of all of the ink blended trees. This gives just the right amount of extra sparkle to the trees, don’t you think?

I colored up the cute owl image from the Forest Friends stamp set (how CUTE is this set?!?) using Copic Ciao markers. Then, I added a little bit of that Stickles sparkle to the owl’s wings as well. To finish off the card panel I popped up the owl and a sentiment from the Simple Sayings sentiment set and then splattered the panel with some white paint.

I cut another panel of cardstock slightly smaller than a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ card base. After that, I adhered double sided adhesive tape around all four sides of this panel. I removed the adhesive strips which then leaves just the sticky portion of the adhesive. I sprinkled the Scrunchie glitter onto the strips and then burnished with my finger. This created a beautiful glitter border.

I completed the card by popping up the main card panel with some foam and then adhering that to the glitter border panel. This piece was then adhered to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ white card base.

I love the supplies included in December’s box! So many ideas! I’ll have another one for you next week, see you then!

I’d love to see your projects using this Subscription Box. You can post them on The Hedgehog Hollow Box Facebook group as well as Stamping at the Hedgehog Hollow Facebook group.
