Today – I am going to share lots of unique ways to use the refills outside of their intended purpose. I am all about stretching your supplies and getting more bang for your crafty buck! Plus you might be surprised how some of your kitchen items can be used for neat effects in your crafting! Let’s take a look at the finished cards…

I find it amazing all those cards were made using the same medium but yet look so different! They are all easy makes too.
I made the backgrounds and then each card took less than 10 minutes to assemble. They are perfect for any level of crafter!

Beautiful cards. I really enjoyed your video and I’ll definitely be trying some of these wonderful techniques. I really loved the first one using the rice. I’ve been told my craft room resembles a kitchen — straws, Kosher salt, etc. — but it doesn’t include rice! I’ll be picking some up on my next trip to the grocery store. These watercolor marker refills are exciting — so many possibilities.
