Hi Hollowers!

Today I am participating in a YouTube hop hosted by the very talented Christine Meyer, also hopping with me today is the very lovely Simone Schermann; more on that later (you will want to read on as Christine has an awesome giveaway!).  It was perfect timing for me as it is Maddi’s first day back at school today as my big 5th Grader.  It is bittersweet, the house is quiet so I can get back ahead of myself on videos, but the house is quiet and all the buzz of her running around with her neighborhood friends is over.  Of course Miss Tilly is still here as is our new wonderful nanny, I’m sure she will be stopping into the Hollow to say hi very soon!

Back to today’s project, here’s what we will be making; you all asked for more Copic tutorials, so here is another.  Today I am using a limited palette to show you how only a few colors can still be very effective!

Isn’t he cute!? I have had this in my stash for a little while and I was excited to break him out.  Can you believe I only used 8 colors on this whole image? I think it has so many tones and textures for such a small selection.  Here is your video tutorial…

Wasn’t that fun? Look at how awesome the glasses came out…

It’s a tough call whether the glasses or the wooden frame were my favorite extra…

Now of course I know you need a supply list, and this one is quite slimline! If are new to the Hollow, we have a crafty sales page that contains all the latest sales and coupon codes that is updated at least once a week, just click here.

Now for the important part of hopping to my fellow YouTubers, I know you will leave them some crafty love; you can see Christine’s channel here and Simone’s here.  Christine is offering up a big Back to School Themed Prize Package. To qualify you will need to be a subscriber to her channel and leave a comment on any of Christine’s videos and can get additional entries by doing so on any of the videos all week! It will include a $10 scrapbook.com gift card, a package of stickers from srm stickers, and a new #planner from Paper House Productions – combined value of over $50!  She is hopping with some great ladies all week so keep checking her channel for more inspiration.  Just two more pictures…

Thanks so much for stopping by, I will have another video tutorial for you tomorrow with HNDMD, plus a very special Friday post.  See you again soon!

Happy Stamping!
