Hi Hollowers!

Today I have channeled my inner Dory! My husband often calls me Dory so I when it was a 3D challenge at GDP I knew this project I had in the planning would be perfect! Shaker cards are the in thing; but I have changed it up to make a shaker gift box using the new Hexangaonal Box die in the Occasions catalog.  Here is my project…

Of course there is a video tutorial to create you own but look at these close ups; there is a detail on each panel around the edge…

And the cool treats elements made a perfect under the sea shaker, I can imagine a mermaid swimming by anytime soon!

I know you want to create your own for that special someone, or just make the shaker element to mount on a co-ordinating card…

Here is the cutting list I promised:

Crumb Cake: 2 hexagonal boxes

Dapper Denim: 1 box lid, scraps for each side panel x 3 (cut with 1 3/8″ layering square)

Real Red: Circle Rim using 2 3/4″ circle and 2 1/8″ circle), 3 scraps for side panel x 3 (cut with 1 3/8″ layering square)

Whisper White: Scraps for fish (x6), Shaker Base Circle cut with 2 3/8″ circle

Of course you need your supplies, here is your Stampin’ Up! list:

These are the other items I referred to: (affiliate links used at no cost to you)

I hope you enjoy this project as much as I do; there are some fabulous entries into GDP as always; you can check them out as well as submitting your own here.  Join me daily on Facebook for stamping tips and a round up on the blog every Monday. Happy stamping!
