Do you have a little gamer in your life? Carisa here with you today and I have several and when I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to make some cards for them. One has a birthday in a couple of months and for once, I’m ahead of the game thanks to the awesome April subscription box from The Hedgehog Hollow!

To start, I chose the two different game controls and mounted them on stamp blocks. I picked out two of my sons’ favorite colors and just began stamping them randomly across a white cardstock – starting from the middle and working toward the outside. I wanted to alternate the colors and direction of the stamps to create a random pattern.

I normally use my MISTI for all the stamping but in this particular technique pulling out the good old acrylic blocks works beautifully.

To create the sentiment, I stamped the Happy Birthday on dark blue cardstock and embossed it in white. I love the way a white embossed sentiment looks on dark cardstock. The fonts in this stamp set are awesome because they look like a computer typed or typewriter font. Totally masculine!

This card seriously comes together in less than 10 minutes – perfect for any last-minute birthday cards you need. I created this quick video for you to see how simple this card is to put together.
