Hello crafters,

Can you believe Halloween will be here before you know it! I have a simple quick and easy Halloween card for you today made with Stamps and stencil from Hedgehog Hollow’s monthly subscription box. The products from the box that I used are: Potion Master Stamp, Boo stencil, Under Your Spell Stamp and Halloween time paper. What a great box of goodies to make Halloween crafting more fun then ever!

I started by picking out the paper I wanted to use for my card layers. The striped paper was an excellent choice to tie the Halloween colors together. For a standard A-2 card I cut a black layer 2, a striped layer 1 and a bright green card base.

The next step was to stencil the ‘boo’ onto the paper using orange paste and sprinkling orange glitter onto it while still wet. This gave me a bright and sparkly back drop for my next step.

Using two of the adorable ghost from the stamp set, I embossed them onto vellum with black powder resulting in see through ghosts. I stamped the ghost with the witch’s hat on white paper and fussy cut only the hat out. Next I colored the hat and attached it over the vellum hat. The additional sentiment was embossed in white on purple card stock. I now have all the pieces needed for the card.

The last step is to assemble the card. I used foam dots to attach the ghosts and sentiment to give dimension to the card. To add a bit more color I placed some enamel dots on the card. I think this is the perfect card for a young person. Not too scary and lots of fun. Would love to see your creations using the products in this month’s box. Enjoy!
