Hi everyone! I’m still having a fun time with the March subscription box creating fun cards to send to my crafty friends! For this week’s card, I pulled out my Ranger Ink Distress Oxides and Copic Markers to do a clean and simple one layer(ish) card. Let me tell you how it came together.
I started by stamping these 3 classic crafty images from the Friends Who Craft Together stamp set side by side. Then I created a mask for each of the images so I could mask them off for the ink blending.
I first laid down a pattern stencil and then a circle mask over that so it would create this spotlight effect. I lined up the pattern stencil so that it ended where the images laid and created some ground for them. Then I removed the pattern stencil and just masked off the top to create the bottom with some more Oxide Inks.

Once the ink blending was done, I removed the masks and colored the images with my Copic Markers. I kept it really simple and the colors used are listed above if you are interested. I added some shimmer with a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen as well as some highlights with a Gel Pen.
To add some detail to this clean and simple design, I placed the circle stencil back over the card and used a fine liner in black to add some stitching. A few clear sequins finish it off. I added it to a top folding A2 sized card base in a dark grey and it’s ready to be mailed to yet another crafty friend!
