Happy Tuesday! It’s Jill from Jill Cameron Creations today with some Copic coloring for your enjoyment. Copic coloring is one of my most favorite forms of crafting and the March Kit from The Hedgehog Hollow is perfect for getting my Copic coloring on! This month’s crafty theme is so super cute.

All of the products and Copic colors used are at the bottom of this post.

I decided I’d show you how easy creating a one layer (okay almost one layer) card is and what those same images colored the same way look like on a layered card. You do not have to do one layer cards to create amazing Copic colored cards.

I kept the one layer card really simple. I stamped the images one at a time using my Mini Misti. I didn’t want to mask anything so I made sure to place my images in such a way that I could just stamp them on my paper.

Once I got them stamped, I used my E50 marker to create a line behind my images. Use a T-square ruler to make a straight line.

After I started coloring I realized the paint pallet looked like it was floating in the background. I created a frame around the image to make it look its a picture hanging on the wall behind everything. Nothing fancy, just some straight lines and fill it in. I didn’t add detail to the background and purposely left the top left corner empty so the images are the focus.

For the layered card, I colored the images using the same exact colors and then cut them out using my Silhouette Cameo. The patterned paper is from some paper pads I have in my stash.
