Hey everyone, it’s Julianne here sharing some more inspiration using the June 2020 box, I just can’t seem to put down the Geo Zoo stamp set this month. Don’t you just love when you get a stamp set that just has so many possibilities? Well that’s what happened when I started playing with this stamp set; this month I’ve shown you how to make some super easy kindness card using the pattern paper in this months box as well as a slimline card using all the stamps in the Geo Zoo stamp set and this week I’m going to show you how I created my own background for three cards using just the leaf image in this stamp set.
I really love both the leaf and butterfly image in this stamp set so I decided to make my own background using the leaf and create some super easy and colorful friendship cards. I started put my stamping and gold heat embossing the leaf image all over my background panels which were all from some Bristol Smooth water color paper. I would stamp a few leaves on each background and then heat emboss them and then return the panel back to my misti to stamp some more of that image. And I just continued that process until I had each background completely covered and then it was time to start water coloring
For all of my cards today I used my Karin Brushmarker Pros to water color in each of my leaf images, using a variety of different shades of each color to make each card completely different. Once all my water coloring was done I used a friend die to die cut out different colors of colored card stock that I thought match each background and adhered them to each background. I also took a bunch of different friendship sentiments that I had and stamped and white heat embossed them onto some black card stock before adhering them all to my cards using some foam adhesive.
I want to thank you all for stopping by and I hope your enjoyed my friendship cards today using items from the June 2020 box; there is still time for you to grab this box if you haven’t already. Make sure to check out the rest of the design team for even more inspiration from this months box and I will see you next week with items from the July 2020 box (you’re going to LOVE it). See you then and Happy Crafting!
