Hey everyone! It’s Jessica. I’m really excited to be on The Hedgehog Hollow blog today as a guest designer for March. I’m using the March subscription box which is packed full of stamp goodness.

This card is a slimline card which makes it 4×9 inches. I love the extra space you get with this size of a card.

To start, I cut a piece of Neenah 80lb card stock down to 3.5×8.5 inches and ink blended a rainbow background. I’m using Distress Oxide inks in the colors; Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet.  Distress Oxide inks react with water so I splattered the background for some added texture.

You can see the total process of how I made this card here.

I used several images from the Friends Who Craft Together stamp set. Coloring them with Copic Markers in W4, W3, W1, then fussy cutting them out.

Next, I stamped the bold and beautiful “Inspire” stamp with Versamark ink and heat embossed using Alabaster embossing powder over black cardstock. I fussy cut this image out also.

By this time, my rainbow background was fully dried. I used the stencil that came in the March subscription box to create a large ruler on the left side with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink.

Then, to complete my sentiment I adhered the Inspire word on to my card then stamped “You” from the Exclusively Hand Lettered by Jess Francisco stamp set and the Creativity from the Friends Who Craft Together set.

Everything is adhered to the rainbow background including another sentiment, which is my favorite one from the March box. I also added some tiny hearts from my stash and a few white Nuvo dots.

Thank you all so much for joining me today and to The Hedgehog Hollow team for having me as a Guest Designer.
