Hello! It’s Kari here today with a fun dancing skeleton card. These images make me smile every time I see them, and they really make for a happy card! So today, I’m pairing those dancing skeletons with the beautiful rose stencil from the September Kit.
This card is super simple to put together, and I have a short video to show you how! This might be the shortest card video I have EVER produced, so if you only have a few minutes…this video is for you! Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:
I think I must’ve been inspired by the character “Stitch” when I colored up that cat. Have you ever seen the movie “Lilo and Stitch?” It’s an oldie, but fun…and the pet is BLUE. I wanted a colorful cat today!
I taped on the stencil to a blank card panel and inked on the rose with a blender brush using pinks and greens. Then I stamped and colored the skeletons and the cat with Copic markers. I stamped on the sentiment and attached the skeletons with foam tape. VOILA! The card is done.
If you are interested in the Copic colors I used, here is the list:
Blues: B05, B01
Pinks: RV02, RV06, R20
Yellows/Greens: Y06, YG00, YG07, YG05
Grays: N0, N1, N3, N5
Tans: E55, E53, E51
I adore the font on the sentiments this month…it is perfect for the theme! I hope you enjoyed this card today. This September box has been wildly popular. Have you got your box yet?
I’ll see you soon with more inspiration!
