Hello there, Hollowers! How are you all doing?! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today, I am sharing a DIY gift box with you! I used products from the February 2021 Subscription Box to create this gift box with the cute little kitty on the front!
If you’re a pet-lover, I hope you didn’t miss out on this box! If you did, check back here in a while to see if it’s available as a One-off Box!
Here’s a video tutorial:
To create this box, I used a 12″x12″ scoreboard. I used 2 sheets of 12″x12″ scrapbook paper. One sheet for the base and one for the lid. I scored the paper according to the directions that came with the scoreboard. I used the Maker Forte Bone Folder to create my score lines.
Next, I made cut lines and folded where the directions advised and then folded the edges to create the base. I repeated the process for the lid.
Using a piece of 6″x6″ patterned paper that came in the Feb 2021 Box, I blended a bit of Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide all around the edges.
I stamped the “love” sentiment from the “Love You Fur-ever” stamp set on a piece of black cardstock using Versamark Watermark Ink and then applied white embossing powder. Using my heat tool, I melted the embossing powder. I trimmed the sentiment down.
I stamped some paw prints from the “Puppy Love” stamp set and fussy cut them out using my scissors. I adhered everything to the front of the box and then tied twine around the entire box.
What a cute little box for someone who loves their animals!
If you haven’t checked out the March Subscription Box release, you can find it here. It’s all about fairies! Order before March 14th to get this box! I’m already busy thinking about what to make with those adorable stamp sets!
Thank you so much for coming by the Hedgehog Hollow Blog today! Enjoy your week!
