Hello! It’s Kari here today with a couple cards to share using the July Kit. I fell in love with the large Dragonfly and Hummingbird stencils, today I paired them with the wildflower background stamp.

These cards are a joy to create, especially with those foilable ephemera pieces! I’ve created a video to show you how to foil that ephemera and how I created these cards. Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

Card 1: Dragonfly

For the Dragonfly card, I first stamped the wildflower background stamp with Lemon ink. Next, I inked over the Dragonfly stencil using a variety of colors (try your favorites!) Then I used Nuvo Glimmer paste over the entire dragonfly image and set it aside to dry.

I foiled the sentiment ephemera (both the positive and the negative) with Glass Slipper Decofoil. I show you just how to do this in the video.

I inked around the edges with Blue Moon ink and added some Liquid Pearl drops to finish off the card.

Card 2: Hummingbird

For this card, I stamped the background stamps in Fog ink. Then I inked over the Hummingbird stencil with a rainbow of ink colors (all listed below).

I chose some paper from the paper pack and inked around the edges with Flamingo ink. I added an ephemera sentiment (foiled first) with foam tape. Then I finished it all off with Liquid Pearls.

I love how these cards turned out, and I hope you enjoyed these projects too!
