Hi there Hollowers! Today I am sharing my last card using the October Subscription Box. I hope that you have had as much fun as I have had using this box!
For this last card, I kept it quick and easy. I started off with a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock cut to 4 ¼ x 5 ½. I used the Mandala stencil that came in the box placing it over just a portion of the left hand side of the cardstock. I then blended two Catherine Pooler inks, Rouge and Lime Rickey. I then placed the stencil on the right hand side of the cardstock and repeated the blending of the two colors.
Next, I stamped up the smallest circle of presents stamp in the center of the card using the same two colors that were used for the ink blending. I applied these colors again to white cardstock strips using a blending brush. I then stamped sentiments onto these colored cardstock strips using an old Kaisercraft stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
And last but not least, since I love splatter I used the Dina Wakely white acrylic spray. In addition, I spritzed the panel with my water bottle and then applied and heat set some gold embossing powder.
The card panel was cut down to size using a Pinkfresh Studio diagonal stitched die. A thin piece of foam was adhered to the back of the panel and that was then adhered to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ green cardstock panel which was then adhered to the same size of a white card base.
I added a few sequins and that finished off the card. I just love the quick and easy cards! How about you? What kinds of cards are your favorite to create?
Until next week, take care!
