I have a quick card to share with you today! My video shows how to foil ephemera with a laminator and how to foil stamped outline images to add a special touch to your cards!
The February subscription kits was one of my favorites. I really loved the whimsical critters in the kit, so I pulled it out to play with it again!
I heat embossed and then foiled several of the critters. Both of my kids have cats, so I colored the cat in with some markers and fussy cut it out.
Then I decided that I needed a background for him and I used the fabulous dahlia heart stencil in the kit. I added some marker details and some shaded inking to give the heart more interest and dimension. You can see those details on my video below!
I used the Summer Rainbow Deco Foil and my inexpensive 3M Scotch laminator to do the foiling. I love that the recipient of this card will see lots of sparkle when the open the card!
I used a sticker sentiment set from my scrapbooking stash and popped the cat up on some foam for added dimension.
