Hey, there! It’s Lynnea! Today I have two cards to share with you using the printed watercolor cards from the October box from The Hedgehog Hollow! Before I show you my projects remember that there are still a few of these boxes left! There are exclusive stamp sets from The Ink Road that you can ONLY get in the October box! If you want to purchase a subscription there are several ways to subscribe! You do a month to month rolling subscription to The Hedgehog Hollow starting with the October 2018 box, a three month subscription, or even a six month subscription! And since we still have a few boxes left you can also purchase the individual October box without a subscription!

Let’s see what I made!

There are some GORGEOUS watercolor cards in this box! I wanted to see what I could do with my new laminator! Yes….it’s new! I am way late to the foiling party, but better late than never, right?! I ran this floral acorn card through my laminator with some gold foil and it worked! The foil didn’t adhere everywhere, so I have a distressed look and I love it! I don’t think these cards were intended for foiling, so I’m quite pleased with the results!

The gold foil shines and glimmers in the light and it’s so beautiful! I wanted to watercolor the image, so I used my real brush watercolor pens and got some awesome blends and depth of color! I’m reaching for these more and more!

I heat embossed the sentiment from the Octobers stamp set (an exclusive set from The Ink Road!) included in the box with white embossing powder in the middle of the acorn. It’s like it was designed to fit right inside!

I was so thrilled with my foiling results on the acorn that I decided to try it again! I used the spooky shelf card and put it through my laminator with some orangey-red foil. And again I was so HAPPY! It looks so awesome!!

It gave another distressed look and it fits so well with the spookiness of the shelf! I decided to leave the card as is and just stamp a sentiment on the inside! I didn’t want to cover anything up! Haha!

I hope you’ve enjoyed these cards and are inspired to try foiling with the printed cards in the box! I can’t wait to see what you make!
