Jenny here, joining you today with two more cards that I created using The Hedgehog Hollow June 2019 box. These cards are really simple but fun to make, and let you get the most out of some of those detailed stamp images in the box.
I am going for an all over pattern look with a focal sentiment for these cards. I chose the jellyfish and the sea horse as my main images, but you could choose any of the larger stamps from the set.
The seahorse stamp is layering stamp – I stamped each layer with a different shade of green dye ink, all over the panel. I then filled in the spaces with several of the solid and outline bubble stamps, using a pale blue ink.
If you look closely you can see I covered several of the bubbles with clear Nuvo Drops. When dry, I mounted it onto a white card base from the box. I also stamped one of the sentiments from the box in embossing ink and heat embossed in gold on black cardstock. To match the gold I added some gold confetti sequins as a finishing touch and a spattering of gold using my Nuvo Shimmer Pen in Midas Touch.
I made my jellyfish card in a similar way, stamping the jellies in three different shades of ink. I then filled in the gaps with small shells and seaweeds in pale green, pale blue and grey ink. I also added some clear Nuvo Drops and gold confetti along with the spatters from the Midas Touch pen.
I created the sentiment in the same way as the first card, and mounted it onto a white card base. You can totally create cards like this with any of the stamps in the Hedgehog Hollow boxes – have fun!
