Hey friends! It’s Victoria and I am back with another fun card from the June 2020 Subscription Box. This card features the super cute elephant stamp from the Geo Zoo Stamp.
For this project you will need:
- 4.25 x 5.50 card base (white)
- 4 x 5 inch card panel using one (1) piece Kind Geo Patterns paper
- 3.75 x 5 inch white card panel
- One (1) sheet of velum cut to 2.5 x 3.75 inches
- Geo Zoo Elephant Stamp
- Geometric Stepping Stones Stencil
- Three (3) coordinating ink colors of your choice
- Blend tool
- Embossing powder (white), embossing ink, heat tool
- Optional: Sequin or gems
To begin, trim a piece of the Kind Geo Patterns paper to 4.25 x 5.50 inches. Adhere the pattern paper panel to the card base.
Next, position the Geometric Stepping Stones stencil over the 2.5 x 3.75 inch piece of vellum. Using a blending tool, apply coordinating inks (ex: stamping ink, Distress Ink, Oxide Ink) over the stencil, alternating the colors across the vellum panel. Remove the stencil and adhere the vellum panel in the center of the 3.75 x 5 inch white card stock panel and adhere the entire panel to the card base as shown.
Using a piece of white card stock, stamp (or heat emboss) the Geo Zoo elephant stamp. Next, fussy cut the image and adhere it to the vellum panel. Trim the elephant so it appears that the image is running of the edge of the panel.
Lastly, heat emboss a sentiment on a piece of black card stock. For this project, I used the Hedge Hog Hollow Exclusive Hand Lettered Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment “Happy Mail“. Optional: Add gems or sequin to finish the card!
I hope you were inspired to create stunning cards using the Geo Zoo stamp set! Thanks so much for stopping by!
