Hello again! I’m here to share a couple sweet little cards using the products from the January box. I waited to use this Geometric heart stamp from the stamp set because I thought it would be perfect for some Valentine cards. I just love this Geometric heart and it’s simple to emboss and add some fun sparkle.

Here are my two cards taken with plenty of sunshine streaming through my window to show off that shine:

That “Sweet” die on the card on the left is from a previous Hedgehog Hollow release designed by Alexandra, and it’s still one of my favorite dies! I thought it would pair nicely to give a “Sweet heart” comment on this card.

I first inked up the background using Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves and Weathered Wood. Then I gold heat embossed the heart and added some fun colors and sparkles in some of the triangles: a little gold paint, Star Dust Stickles for the glitter, and Glossy Accents. It gives the heart so much interest! It is difficult to capture the magic of this heart in a photo.

Then I added that “Sweet” die cut in gold foil paper, some gold paint splatters, and a few clear iridescent sequins to finish it off.

Next, I created a silver embossed heart card.

For the background I simply used the SAME colors of Distress Oxide to paint on some lines randomly. Then I added a few droplets in black, white and pink. Here’s a closer look at those beautiful geometric silver hearts:

The “Love” sentiment is from the same January Kit sentiments stamp set. So there you have some fun and simple Valentines cards for someone you love.

I hope you enjoyed these projects today and that I inspired you to create some Sweetheart cards yourself. See you next time!
