Hi there Hollowers! Today I will be creating a card using the cute floral hedgehog stamp set along with the Maker Forte Sugar Sparkle Scrunchie glitter. These items are in the December subscription box.
I started my card off by adhering a ½ strip of double sided adhesive to a piece of white cardstock. I then sprinkled the sugar sparkle scrunchie glitter over the adhesive strip. I burnished the glitter onto the strip by placing a piece of scratch paper over the glitter strip and then rubbing back and forth with my fingers. This pushes the glitter into the adhesive which will prevent pieces of it from falling off.
Next, I stamped the hedgehog stamp in Versafine black ink and then used clear embossing powder over the top. I colored up the cute hedgehog using Tombow markers in pretty shades of light greens and light blues and pink. I also did some ink smooshing over the background that the hedgehog was stamped onto.
I then placed a circle scalloped die from my stash over the colored hedgehog and ran that through my die cutting machine. Since the die was a little bit larger than my card panel, the circle was partially cut off on the left hand side.
To complete the card I adhered the glitter strip and the hedgehog image onto a 4 x 5.25 card panel. I then adhered the card panel to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ white card base. The sentiment was added using Versafine black ink and a few enamel hearts were added to finish off the card.
Don’t you just love these cute stamps? I’ll have one more project for you this month using the supplies from the December box. See you then!
