Hello! It’s Kari here today with a fun Musical Card using the Hedgehog Hollow May Kit! I was so excited to see the music theme for this kit. I just had to jump in and use that piano keys stencil!

This stencil has some small lines to it, so I suggest using Pixie Spray (or a spray adhesive) for this one. I share how I lined this stencil up and created a rainbow set of keys in my video below, or watch in HD on YouTube:

Would you have thought of a Golden Piano with rainbow keys!? I think it makes for a fun and playful musical card.

For this card, I first stenciled on the grey keys to a slimline panel. I made them grey because I wanted to stamp on a black sentiment over the top. Once that was done, I put on the second piece of the stencil while that first piece was in place. I found it was easier to line up those little lines in the right place. Then I inked on rainbow colors of Distress Ink.

I added a strip of Alex Syberia Slimline patterned paper to the bottom of the panel. Then I foiled the piano ephemera with the NEW foil (Sunlit Lake) by Maker Forte. I think this foil is so pretty!

I stamped on the sentiment, and finished it off with a few of the music symbols heat embossed in gold.
