How can you tell a Hawaiian turtle with a regular turtle? I’m not really sure, but this new Hedgehog Hollow KIT will have you thinking Hawaiian Turtle! I have a quick video to share how I created this turtle card and share how the wave and sunset stencil fit together so perfectly.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

Don’t you think this turtle looks Hawaiian?! Lol…well, he sure is BEAUTIFUL and I just adore these products together.

For this card, I first inked on some beautiful blue inks near the bottom of the card panel. Then I added the WAVE stencil and used the same color ink to ink that on.

The Sunshine is so awesome because it FITS right over the curve of the wave! I love how well-thought out these stencils are! I have only used ONE of the stencils on this card, so there are SO MANY cards you can create with all the products included in this kit.

Once I got the waves inked on, I added some Yellowstone ink to the top of the panel in a light shade. Then I added the sunshine over the top and used both Yellowstone and Flamingo ink to get a sort of sunset feeling.

Before I heat embossed that sentiment, I had to dry the panel with my heat tool to speed things up! Make sure your ink is dry before heat embossing a sentiment. I used the beautiful Solar Flare Embossing powder for that sentiment.

I cut down the panel a bit so I could use that sunny yellow paper for the mat. I popped up the panel on Fun Foam so there was some dimension to this otherwise flat card.

I finished it off with yellow Lemon gems (oh, they are so pretty in real life!)
