Hi there, crafty friends! Today I’m up on the blog sharing my last project with the July Hedgehog Hollow box. I have LOVED working with the items this month and I hope that you have too!

I love the colors teal and pink together and chose to use those on the card today. I am using the layering stencil and both stamps that were in the box.

I started by placing a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ piece of white cardstock in my stamping platform. I then chose several stamps from the Atomic Age stamp set. These stamps were placed towards the right corner of the cardstock. I inked the stamps up in Versafine Clair Black and stamped the images with the help of the Misti. I then stamped the hello sentiment stamp from the Roadside Attractions set.

Next, using the layering stencils I placed the first stencil onto the far right side of the stamped card panel. Using a blending brush, I applied Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink through the stencil. I removed this stencil and then lined up the second stencil pattern next to the first. Salvaged Patina Distress Ink was blended through the stencil. I repeated this pattern vertically across the card panel.

I trimmed down the card panel using my Guillotine Trimmer and then cut the bottom right side of the panel with scissors. For a little bit of glitter effect, I used glitter blue washi tape from my stash to add a border around the card panel. Next, the panel was adhered to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ white card base.

To finish off the card I used Sparkle Star Cosmic Twinkles and black ink splatter.

I hope these cards inspire you to get create today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
