I am loving the August Subscription Box from The Hedgehog Hollow! Today, I’m making a honeycomb shaped card. Let’s bee friends!
I created this card using the honeycomb stamp from the kit. Firstly, I started with a Distress Ink smooshed background.
I cut the smooshed background with an Elizabeth Craft Hexagon die. Then, I stamped the honeycomb on the ink smooshed background.
I stamped the bee and flower on Cougar 80lb. cardstock and colored with Copic markers. (Actually, I colored two flowers so I could cut out the second layer and pop up with foam tape).
I mounted the hexagon on an A7 kraft card base and trimmed the edges to make a honeycomb-shaped card. The sentiment is stamped on a kraft strip torn for additional interest.
I added a fun detail on the matching envelope by stamping the flower trail from the kit.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. There’s only a set amount of each box produced; once they are gone they are gone. So, bee sure to check out the available Hedgehog Hollow subscription boxes here!
