The December box is perfect to end the year. There are so many things to love about it. One is the awesome stencil! When I first saw it I knew it would work beautifully as a foiled image.

I created the above card using a transfer gel and a gorgeous rainbow decofoil. All you need are a few simple steps to follow when foiling images — especially when using a gel. I have created a helpful video for you covering a few tips and techniques.

To finish off the card I needed to ground it. The delicate script gets lost easily on a busy background. By using a plain piece of cardstock under the sentiment it pops! For the glasses I used

Nuvo Crystal Glaze to give it shine. I finished off the card with a few Dew Drops.

The foiled image adds depth and personality to the card.

After receiving Christmas packages and a few months of season’s greetings via the post a card to ring in the New Year will be a welcome change.
