January 2019 Hedgehog Hollow box is packed with on trend stamps and chipboard! I had a family friend that was a stain glass artist growing up. The studio he worked in was full of gorgeous colors that danced in the light. It was a happy space! He even let me create a stain glass piece. That experience has lived on in me and is probably the reason when I first saw the chipboard in the kit I thought of stain glass. There are a couple different ways to use chipboard. stain glass is one way!

For the heart I used Nuvo Dew drops.

Alcohol Markers and Crystal Glaze were used to create the butterfly.

When I first thought of this technique I was certain I would like the Dew Drop heart the best. After both pieces had dried, I favored the butterfly. Here is a video tutorial on how to create stain glass embellishments:

These pieces are perfect for cards, planner clips and even a bouquet of flowers. Think outside the box when creating with chipboard. It is not just for paper crafting. Chipboard makes great art pieces in home decor too!  What would you do with these pieces? Leave a comment!

Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!
