Hello! It’s Jill from Jill Cameron Creations! Today, we are stepping way out of my comfort zone and using patterned paper die-cuts to create a card. I’m using the patterned papers included in the May kit from The Hedgehog Hollow.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the results of this card. And I didn’t have to fussy cut anything.

I used my Silhouette Cameo and PixScan mat to cut all of the images out. I just placed the paper on the mat, took a picture, uploaded it to my computer, and then imported it to Silhouette Studio software. I know that sounds like a lot of work, but it really isn’t. It really only takes a minute.

Once the image is in the software I traced the images I wanted to cut out and let the software work its magic. It does take a few minutes to cut out the images. While I was waiting on my Cameo to finish cutting, I found a sentiment I wanted to use and heat embossed it on matching pink cardstock.

Once everything was cut out, I laid it out how I wanted it and then used liquid adhesive to adhere everything down in place. I made sure to layer lots of things. I popped up the sentiment stripe. For a final touch, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this card as the last one for the month of May. Don’t forget to hop over to the shop and get your kit today!
