I BEE-LIEVE IN YOU | SIMPLE ENCOURAGEMENT CARD

Hello friends! It’s Victoria and I am back with another fun card using the August 2020 Hap-Bee Subscription Box. Today, I am sharing a simple encouragement card that is perfect to send to a loved one.

Supplies & Instructions: Simple Encouragement Card

For this project, I used:

  • 4.25 x 5.5-inch white card base
  • 4.00 x 5.25-inch white card panel
  • Hap-Bee Sentiments Stamp Set
  • Intense Black Solvent Ink by Close to My Heart
  • Sauna Dye Ink by Catherine Pooler Designs
  • Jet Black Embossing Powder by Nuvo from Tonic Studios
  • The Ton Clear Enamel Dots

To begin, I stamped and fussy cut 5 bee images from the Hap-Bee Sentiments Stamp Set using Intense Black Ink by Close To My Heart (CTMH). Next, I created an ink blended background using a dye-based ink (Sauna) by Catherine Pooler and a blender brush. The ink is concentrated on the top left and bottom right of a 4.00 x 5.25-inch white card panel.

Once blended, I stamped the outline honeycomb stamp from the Busy Bee Stamp Set over the ink blended areas using CTMH Intense Black Ink.

To create the sentiment, I stamped “I Bee-Lieve In You” from the Buzzing Bee Stamp Set using clear embossing ink on black card stock. Next, I applied Nuvo White Embossing Powder over the embossing ink and heat set the sentiment using a heat tool.

To assembled the card, I added the card panel to the card base using foam adhesive and adhered the sentiment and bees as shown. For a finishing touch, I added clear enamel dots by The Ton for extra interest and dimension. This card is now ready to send to a loved one!
