Hi friends, welcome back to another crafting live with me. I am so excited that it is not March anymore, you all know what we are all going through so to say that I have been waiting for it to be April is an understatement.

This “social isolation” is getting really old really quick, however, I am so glad to have card making and my Hedgehog Hollow kit subscription box to help me pass the time during this quarantine.

The stamps in these month’s subscription box are all masculine themed. I feel like there aren’t many stamps sets out their geared towards making masculine cards.

For today’s card I wanted to feature this stamp that reads “fishing you a happy Father’s Day”. I want it the sentiment to be the main focus of the card and so I stamped it on a white piece of card stock that I then inked with brown distress ink. For the background I use a couple of guys from Gina Marie designs for the trees and I cut them out in two different shades of green card stock. I did a little bit of inking on them as well to make them look more aged and I went ahead and glue them onto my cart base.

I used shades of brown, tan and green for my mats as I wanted to keep this very masculine and give it the feel of a dark forest. And that is it that was all I did.

I cannot wait to see all of the creations that you all make with April’s subscription box. Please upload them to our social media and tag us so we can see them.

In the meantime head on over to my Facebook page to see a live pre-recorded video of how this card was made from beginning to end:

Until next time.
