Hi there, friends! Jen up on the blog today with a few fun and easy cards using the July Hedgehog Hollow Box. This box is sold out, so there is no better time to head on over and subscribe so that you don’t miss out on the next one!
I’ve got a quick video up over on my YouTube channel if you’d like to check that out.
For today’s cards I’m using the ephemera pack, the pattern paper and the beautiful wildflower stamp set.
Cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock to 8 x 6. Ink up the wildflower stamp in Versafine Black ink. Create your own pattern paper by stamping the wildflower stamp over the 8 x 6 panel in a pattern that you like. Ink up one of the sentiments in the wildflower stamp set in Versafine Black ink. Stamp off twice onto a scratch piece of paper and then stamp onto the 8 x 6 panel. Repeat.
Cut the 8 x 6 panel into four 4 x 3 pieces. Pick out several pieces of pattern paper that came in the box. Coordinate a color or colors from the pattern paper with your coloring medium. I used Tombow Markers. Color the wildflowers.
Cut four pieces of Bristol smooth cardstock slightly smaller than 4 ½ x 5 ½. Color a frame around each piece with each of the marker colors used to color the flowers. Splatter with water. Wait 10 seconds. Place a paper towel over the splattered panel to mop up the color.
Create four card panels with the wildflower panel, the colored frame, and a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ piece of white cardstock for the base. Add twine and embellishments.
Finish the cards off by popping up the ephemera sentiments.
I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
