Hi Hollowers!

Our quick chat on MISTI corners last week was so popular that I knew I needed to find out lots of ways to show you how to use them! I must have watched over 20 different videos, noting down lots of ideas and some inspiration the videos gave me.  I showed you some of the project’s I tried out that the corners made so easy and promised you some videos, so here we are! Today, I have lesson 1 for you.  I take you through an overview of what comes in the box, what my favorite find is as well as our first project which used one of the triangular pieces with both a stencil and a stamp, first let’s see the one layer card project we will be making…

I just love this stencil and the oxides work so nicely with stencils, did you Tim Holtz’s video on our Facebook page from Simon Says Create, he has some fab tips in there and things i’m sure lots of us didn’t know!  Now for today’s tutorial…

I also thought I would show you the original sample I made using the desert sand base…

I also referred to my Telfon Mat tutorial and the stamp shammy, just click the names to go to the appropriate videos! Now for a supply list so you can create you own masked cards…

Also, in the video I promised you a giveaway! I have a tube of the micro brushes to give away to one lucky reader, just leave a comment below as to your request of the next distress oxide color, mine is picked raspberry!  Giveaway closes 11.59pm EST on Monday May 8th 2017.

I am also entering today’s tutorial in the Robin’s Next DT Call, please keep your fingers crossed!  If you haven’t visit them before, click here, to view their store and all the lovely products they have on offer!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed learning about the corners, lesson 2 is already in the works for next week!

Happy Stamping!
