Happy day, friends! Jen here with a card using the amazing July Hedgehog Hollow Box. This box has sold out but if you want to make sure you don’t miss the next amazing box, you can always sign up for a subscription. There is no minimum committment and you can stop anytime you’d like. I have to say though, why would you want to stop?! The boxes just keep getting better and better (if that’s even possible!)

To see the contents of the box and a video tutorial for this card, head on over to my YouTube channel.

It was hard to choose which products from the box to use but I just had to use the 6×8 stamp set along with the hummingbird stencil.

Step 1

Liberally dust a 5×7 piece of black mixed media paper with an anti-static bag. Ink up the 6×8 stamp with Color Hive Clear ink and stamp onto the black cardstock. Apply white embossing powder over the clear ink. Melt the embossing powder with a heat tool.

Step 2

Grab your favorite alcohol inks and “color” the image. I used Marabu alcohol inks in the colors magenta, purple, lemon, and agave. I then splattered metallic gold, rainbow, and white alcohol inks over the panel. Set card panel aside to dry.

Step 3

Tape down the hummingbird stencil onto a piece of white cardstock. Using blending brushes add ink to the hummingbird. I used Color Hive colors Tartan Teal, Palm Tree, Limewired, Pop Art and Sugar Plum. Remove the stencil and add the negative stencil over the hummingbird. Color the chest of the hummingbird. Fussy cut the stenciled image.

Step 4

Add foam tape to the hummingbird and a sentiment from the pre-cut sentiment pack. Adhere to the card panel.

Step 5

Finish the card off by adding Crown Jewels in Shooting Star and Eclipse Black.

I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
