Hello! Today I have one last project to share using images from the November box. I just love the small images from the stamp sets in this kit. So, I decided to focus on small images, layered up to create interest. I have three multi-layered tags to share with you today, all with different kinds of layers.

MULTI-LAYERED TAGS

Tag #1

For the first tag, I layered up the baby Jesus image to create so much extra dimension! First, I chose some papers from the kit (these papers are beautiful and all coordinate together). Then I stamped out the baby Jesus stamp four times on Neenah solar white paper.

Next, I colored up each image layer. On the first image I colored only the manger; on the second image I colored only they hay, etc. Then I cut out each layer and used foam squares to layer them together.

I cut the papers with layering banner dies (or tag dies) and before I adhered them together, I stamped the sentiment on the very back. Don’t wait to do this until after you layer up all the tags…it will have so much dimension and make it difficult to stamp the sentiment evenly!

Tag #2

If you don’t have an image that has the possibility of layering, you can also layer up the tags with dimensional adhesive. Here I lined up the tags at the top (instead of the center) and added the little lamb with foam squares. Still so much dimension on this tag!

Look at all that dimension!

Tag #3

For the last tag, I chose my favorite leaf image from the Hannukah stamp set and stamped it in a variety of colors. Then I colored them in matching shades using Copic markers.

I also stamped four leaves in a circle on a small square (this one measures 3 1/4″ square.) This will serve as the template to create a dimensional wreath.

I fussy cut all the colored leaves. If you don’t like to fussy cut, you can also use an electric cutter to cut them all out perfectly for you. I prefer to fussy cut so I took a little time to do that. Then I arranged a couple of each color in a wreath shape over the template I stamped earlier.

Next, I added some gold gems and a die cut “joy” word from my stash. I used red foil paper for the sentiment because I do love a bit of shine on my cards & tags!

MULTI-LAYERED TAGS

Well, that’s it for me today! I hope you enjoyed these three multi-layered tags today. I’ll see you soon with more inspiration!
