Hello, everyone! Amber here! I have a very quick post to share with you today, using the amazing Nativity Scene stamp set in this month’s Maker’s box to create a twisted easel card!

This past week, I had a snow day to be at home and enjoy an extra day of RnR… so I chose to color these fun little images with my alcohol ink markers. I knew I wanted to create a background scene and show it off – so with a bit of ink blending and my Distress inks/Oxides there was a “twilight sky”.

I wanted to put a little “twist” into my project today…..

Twisted easel cards are always SO much fun! Here are some simple directions to create one:

1. First, cut a base card that is 4 1/4 by 8 1/2 “.

2. Next, score the card at 4 1/4 ” so it is a square. (so-right in the middle)

3. With the card closed and the fold on the left, score the card front from the bottom left corner of the card to the top right corner.

4. Fold the scored corner down to make the easel.

Be sure to only adhere your element or images to the bottom right portion of the card front.

You can embellish your twisted easel card as you wish, and for my design today, I decided to use a piece of the wonderful designer paper also included in this month’s kit – it is cut to 4 1/4″ square on the inside. I stamped the sweetest sentiment and popped up a little lamb to be the one to keep that easel propped open. Lovely!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
