Hello friends, I am so happy to be back today with another crafty post featuring yet another stamp set from the April subscription box.
I just gotta say, I am so in love with all the stamps in this month’s box! They are themed to be masculine but I am sure we can find ways to make them be whatever we want them to be.
As you might know, I am known for my coloring lives and art pieces but making those usually take me a good chunk of time, today I want to show you that I can also make non coloring cards on occasion and that I can also make a card in less than 2 hours 😂.
So for this card I decided to go with the two stamps that coordinate from this set. First I place my outline glasses strategically on my misti so I can move my cardstock up and down as needed, and proceeded to stamp the glasses lined up, trying my best to leave the same distance from each row. I truly hope that made sense lol.
Next I picked up the filling part of the stamp, chose a yellow ink to simulate the color of beer, but you can also pick any color of your favorite beverage for this step, and placed my stamp very carefully on top of the outlined stamped images of the cups, this part is very important, so I made sure that my blackout stamp was right where I wanted it to be. I inked my stamp and stamped it a couple of times until I achieved the rich yellow tone I was aiming for.
I just love that I was able to place my stamp exactly where I wanted it using my misti, but if you don’t own a misti, you can go ahead and color each individual glass a different color using colored pencils or markers.
For the sentiment I went with this one that reads “seven days without beer makes one weak” because, well, it’s hilarious!
I put my panel on a couple of layers to give it more of a nice presentation and there you have it. I just love love love the way this card turned out.
I truly hope you give this design a try and when you do, please oh please, tag me so I can see it.
