Hello, it’s Kari here! Today I’m sharing three cards using the Hanukkah set that came in the November Kit. Don’t know anyone who celebrates Hanukkah? That’s ok…here are a few more ideas on how to use this set for anyone!

For my first card, I chose the candle image (Menorah) and colored it with a gold gel pen and some Copic Markers. I used Cool Greys to add a shadow beneath the Menorah to ground it. Then I stamped the sentiment and added some Stickles glitter to the candles. I matted it on some of the patterned paper that came in the kit to finish it off. This is a card that came together so quickly.

I think this sentiment is so beautiful, and it’s not just for Hanukkah. I think this would work for the 12 Days of Christmas or even someone going through a challenging time.

Next, I decided to use the beautiful DOVE image with the BRANCH from the set. I die cut some alpha letters from my stash to make the word “PEACE” and backed it with some of the Kit’s patterned paper. This plaid paper is some of my favorite paper!! I added the dove and branch, which I colored simply with Copic Markers.

Since I already had the white letters from the die-cut, I decided to make a third card! I took some of the snowflake paper from the kit and cut it to A2 card size (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″). Then I added the PEACE die-cut letters and drew a white gel pen frame around the paper’s perimeter. I added some gems to the letters to finish it off.

With beautiful papers, beautiful sentiments and beautiful images it’s so easy to create quick cards! I can already imagine building a card with multiple dove images in the background, too. I didn’t have time to make that card (yet), so I hope someone will get to work on that one!

Have a great time imagining new uses for this set…I’d love to hear your ideas!

No matter what holiday you celebrate, I hope you have a great time creating with your November kit!
Thanks for stopping by today!
