Hello! It’s Kari V. here today with some ombre stamped cards. I’m using the Love background stamp, and I have two card ideas for you!
For this first card, I used four colors of ink to create the ombre look. I stamped the first lightest color on top. Then I added the darker colors moving down the stamp. I add one color at a time, wiping away any harsh lines between the colors to get a smooth transition.
I also added a white heat embossed sentiment and a flower, along with black Nuvo drops to complete the look. I’ve created a video to show you the process, watch it below or on YouTube:
For the second card, I chose blues and greens for the ombre stamping. It’s ok to use non-traditional Valentine colors. After all, you can send a card to let your loved ones know how you feel about them ANY TIME of the year!
For this card, I used a stitched heart die to cut out three hearts on the front panel. It’s a fun way to get a peek-a-boo look to the Love background. I finished off this card with an inked frame and iridescent sequins.
I hope you are enjoying these stamps from the December box. And if you don’t have the December box yet, hurry on over to check it out…it is full of beautiful stamps, papers, and envelopes!
I’ll be back soon with more inspiration,
