There were so many goodies in this box, I didn’t know where to start! I decided to create a one-layer card using the chain-like stencil.
First, I taped down the stencil to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ piece of Accent Opaque White cardstock. Next, I blended Distress Oxides in the colors Dusty Concord, Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry through the stencil. To get a good blend between colors, I blended the first color and then the second color and then would blend back over with the first color to get a nice transition from color to color.
The panel was then trimmed to about 4 x 5. Next, I placed the stenciled panel into a Misti. I inked up the Hibiscus frame stamp with Versafine Clair Nocturne and positioned the stamp so that only the edge of the florals would stamp onto the panel. I repeated stamping around the edge of the entire panel creating a pretty border. This panel was adhered to a piece of Scrunchie cardstock sized to 4 ¼ x 5 ½.
To complete the card I stamped the beautiful sentiment and then added Crown Jewels in Rah Rah Skirt, Rhubarb Ripple, and Tartan Teal.
As a final touch, watered down black ink was splattered over the panel.
This was such a fun and easy card to create!
I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
