Hi Hollowers!

First of all if you are new to the Hollow and have just hopped from Melody’s blog, welcome! If like me you tend to hop backwards and have come from Jessica’s blog then welcome to, or welcome back if you are a regular! However you have arrived I’m thrilled you are hear to hang out at the Hollow and hope you’ll be back.

Today we are hopping to celebrate Pretty Pink Posh’s May release and what a release it is! I have created four projects for you, all very different and some a little different from my usual style too.  First of all let’s look at the new release…

Now let’s take a look at the video; I challenged myself to only work with the stamps and dies Paulina had sent me which was a nice change, and actually made the process a little quicker because I didn’t have a whole stash to search through! I really love the four card I came out with, I am sending them to my favorite people for Mother’s Day…

Pretty Pink Posh provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

I just love each project for it’s unique-ness and techniques, let’s take a quick tour through each card and I have linked up supplies individually to make it easy for you…(affiliate links may be used at no cost to you)

Card 1 – Fuchsia’s on Black

I love finding any coloring materials that work on black and really pack a punch, both the pens and pencils I used really achieved this!

Card 2 – 3D Butterflies and Custom Embossed Paper

I just love every detail of this card, the 3D butterflies made on the shimmer powder paper and the debased die cuts just add a wonderful finishing touch

I want to reach out and touch the butterflies flying on the card, even on the pictures!

Card 3 – Alcohol Inked Fuchsia’s

This is such a bright and happy card, the butterflies really just give it that finishing touch and a few well placed gems give any card something extra!

Look at that wonderful copper penny foil on the leaves, they feel look so realistic with that patina.

Card 4 – Inset Butterflies

Nearly at that giveaway I promise 😉

I think this card had something that really draws you in, you want to peak through those die cut areas.

I also love how the watercolor pencils turned out, really simple coloring but stunning pigments; the pencils are really highly pigmented so much so they will also work on black cardstock!

***Giveaway time! Win one of 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day…there was a hop yesterday, check the PPP blog for more info, click here).
