Hello! Kimberly here. I have a quick and easy tutorial today. I will be featuring the beautiful patterned paper and sentiments from the February Hedgehog Hollow Subscription Box. Sometimes, we do not have a lot of time to put cards together but still want to send something handmade. The patterned paper in this month’s subscription box is beautiful and just adding a sentiment is all you need for a sweet card.

This 6×6 patterned paper is double sided. I cut 4 of the papers in half at 3″ to give me 8 pieces of 3″ x 6″. The black garden tool paper and the flower pot paper are not back to back together on one sheet that is why I cut 4 sheets in half but I am only using 6 of the cut pieces not all 8. Once I cut them in half, I cut the pieces down further as you can see in the photo. The measurements are next to each pile.

Next, I cut a sheet of Matcha and a piece of Scrunchie cardstock into three 6 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ pieces. These 6 panels are the bases for the patterned paper to get adhered to.

After I adhered the patterned paper to the card panels, I stamped the sentiments on Ultra White cardstock using Eclipse Black ink. Then, I trimmed them down. Using left over Matcha and Scrunchie cardstock, I layered a piece behind each sentiment. I used foam tape to adhered them to the cards. To finish them, I cut Ultra White cardstock into 6 1/2″ x 7″ pieces, scoring them in half at 3 1/2″. Then, I glued the panels to the card bases.

I just love how bright and cheerful these cards are.

Thank you so much for stoping by!
