Hey friends! It’s Jess, and I’m excited to be sharing another card with the December 2019 Subscription box. This one is a super quick and easy Valentine’s day card, and I hope you’ll love it! I’ve got a tutorial video for you that you can watch below or HERE on YouTube:

To start, I grabbed the adorable heart-shaped stencil from the box. I treated my surface with anti-static powder and then taped the stencil to a piece of black cardstock. I used Letter It Embossing Ink through the open areas and then carefully removed the stencil.

I poured white embossing powder onto my cardstock and tapped off the excess over a coffee filter. This allows you to pour the excess powder back into the jar easily – minimal waste means more embossing later! I used my heat tool to melt the embossing powder and then fussy cut the heart shape with a pair of sharp scissors.

I adhered the heart shape to my card panel and grabbed the ‘kiss me’ stamp set. Using my Mini MISTI, I stamped the sentiment in black ink. I mounted the card panel on to a white A2 sized card base, and that finished my card!

I love how simple this quick and easy Valentine’s day card is. Let me know what you think about it in the comments, and if this inspires you to create something, be sure to tag us on social media ( @acarddayswork @thehedgehoghollow ). We love to see what you’re creating!

Hugs and love,
