Hi HHH Friends! Today I have some quick holiday tags that features stamps from the current October 2019 Box and some ink blending.

I am not one who usually creates my own tags for the holidays, but I thought there were so many stamps that would be perfect for tags. To start my holiday tags, I picked out a few distress ink colors for a couple of different color schemes.  The tag die is just one I have had for years and years, but any tag die that you may have in your stash would be just fine for this project.  For my first tag, I used Tumbled Glass and Wilted Violet Distress Inks, and a blending brush and lightly applied my color.  Once I was happy with the amount of ink on my tag, I took out the row of trees stamp that comes in the October box, and I stamped that with VersaFine Black Ink to give a silhouette look to the tag.  Next, I stamped out my sentiment that reads ‘My Gift To You’ in the same Black ink, I die cut the tag reinforcer out of some glitter paper, adhered it with liquid glue, and added some hemp twine.

For my second holiday tag, I first stamped my snowman onto my tag, created a mask, fussy cut out the mask, and applied it over the snowman to mask it from ink blending to create my background.  For my background colors, I used Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold, and Tumbled Glass.  I love the bright colors and still feels like a wintry background.  Once my background was created, I removed the mask ( which is always the fun part) and then colored my snowman with some Copic Markers.  My coloring is pretty simple, I just add a few shadows with darker shades, and blend out with the lighter shade.  I felt for this tag, it needed some snow, some I drew some in with my white gel pen.  I added my glitter topper, and added some more hemp twine that has the same colors of ink I used for the background in an ombre’ pattern.

These tags came together pretty quickly!  That is the name of the game during the holidays, am I right?!  I hope I provided some inspiration for your tags this holiday season!  Thank you all for stopping by today!!  I will be back soon with more inspiration!
