Hi HHH friends! Happy Sat!  Today, I am sharing some quick rainbow stamping plus some tips to apply extra wide washi for a background.  To start, I placed my solid stamp into my stamping tool, and prepped it prior to adding my ink just by rubbing my hand over the stamp and that helps the ink to adhere to the stamp.  I did some rainbow stamping in the ROYGBIV order, which I love, and I think this image is perfect for any color combo, but really love the rainbow!

Once I was happy with my stamping, I worked on my sentiment.  I love this big bold sentiment, and how it covers a card front!  I prepped the area with my anti static powder tool, and then I inked up the sentiment with my clear sticky ink, stamped it down, and then applied my gold embossing powder, and set it with my heat tool.  Once I was happy with this panel, I cut it down with a stitched rectangle die.  I set that panel aside and worked on my background.

I have this extra wide roll of washi tape that looks like a galaxy background, and thought it would look great with the rainbow panel.  I have a video below sharing some tips and tricks on applying this washi to a piece of card stock quickly, because it can get a bit tricky.  Once I was done creating my washi background, I used a bigger sized stitched rectangle to cut down the panel and add that finished detail of the stitched edge.

For a final detail to my card, I added some liquid shimmer and splattered that all over my card with a paint brush, and it really adds to the overall card design.  It looks like twinkling stars in person when you are looking at the card!!

I love how this card turned out!!  Before I go, I just wanted to thank you that took the time to read my posts here at The Hedgehog Hollow!  I hope I inspired you in some way.  This will be my last post as a DT member.  I decided to step down, as I need to focus on other things in my life.  I have really enjoyed my time as a DT member, and hopefully you will see me in the future as a guest designer!  Stay crafty and inspired!
