Hi there, Jen here with another card using items from the Hedgehog Hollow October box.

A quick and easy card for you today using the stethoscope stencil from the October box. However, I have masked off the stethoscope portion of the stencil and will be using the rainbow portion only.

To start off, I took a piece of cardstock and taped down the stencil. I then used Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Salvaged Patina, Twisted Citron and Seedless Preserves to color the rainbow with a blending brush. I used low-tack tape to mask off each arch of the rainbow to ensure that the colors didn’t mix. I used pink enamel drops through the stencil for the heart arch. I then added details to the arches using sparkle drops, and a white gel pen. I then fussy cut the rainbow.

Next, I cut down a piece of cardstock and ink blended Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink onto the panel. I then used gold metallic watercolors to create gold splatters. I used a cloud die set from my stash to die cut several clouds from this colored panel. Some of the clouds were then popped up with foam tape. The Thank You sentiment from the stamp set included in this box was inked up in Versafine Black and stamped over the rainbow. This was then adhered over the cloud panel. The panel was then adhered to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ piece of white cardstock. The card was completed by adding a piece of twine tied in knot.

I hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial and that you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
